Pat Carpenter, VP at Sequent Certified by ODI to Teach New Course
Dublin, Ohio (March 30, 2012) - Pat Carpenter, vice president, Business Development at Sequent has been certified by The Ohio Department of Insurance and Prometric to teach a financial planning course that she developed. “360 ° Financial Planning” is approved for one hour of continuing education credit for licensed insurance agents in the state of Ohio. Pat is the exclusive owner and presenter of this course which will appeal to various health underwriter’s association chapters as well as the National Association of Insurance and Financial Planning (NAIFA) chapters. Pat has already been tapped to teach this course at the NAIFA-Columbus CE Day April 18.
Pat has four decades of experience working for and with emerging businesses and has more than thirty years in the life and health insurance industries. She works with business owners to create custom-tailored succession plans and wealth accumulation programs. Additionally, she has educated various people, from hourly workers to board members about how to optimize their employee benefits.
Pat is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Columbus Association of Health Underwriters, and past president of the Worthington Area Business and Professional Women. Currently, she is on the Columbus Program Committee of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Pat is the author of The Caregiver’s Roadmap, published in 2011.
