Bloodborne Pathogens 
Federal OSHA regulations require that bloodborne pathogens training be provided at least annually to employees with occupational exposure. 

This ASHI course enables certification of training for any employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties, including but not limited to: 

  • Healthcare workers
  • Public safety personnel
  • Housekeeping and custodial workers
  • Educational and correctional workers
  • Designated first aid providers 
Our ASHI-authorized trainers can train a group at your worksite, or you may make arrangements to come to Sequent for the training.

Certification Period: one year
A certification card will be issued for successful completion of the course which includes a performance evaluation and a multiple choice written exam.

Training Program Specifics:
  • Course length: two hours
  • Cost: $15 per student, per class for Sequent clients.
  • Open to the public for $25 per student, per class.
  • $10 per student discount is available when this course is combined with another ASHI training program on the same day.
  • Student learning materials are included in the course fee.
  • Class size: four to twenty students.
