Motivational Topics
Based on Beth’s Book Powered by Happy™, include the following, which can be presentations or workshops:
- Balancing Your Life While Boosting Your Career: This session will help attendees gauge their personal and workplace happiness through a thoughtful workshop led by Beth Thomas. When you are unhappy at the office, it overflows into every part of your life. And, similarly, when you aren’t happy in your career, that negativity pervades every area of your life impacting your success at work and home. Beth will ask attendees hard questions, and help them create solutions to achieve more success. And, along the way, she’ll also address the role worry plays in our lives, how your peers can influence your journey and what really creates happiness.
- How to be Happy at Work! Boost Your Career and Company’s Profit! “BE Powered by Happy” is based on key messages from the recently published book, Powered by Happy™. Powered by Happy™ teaches people how to get and stay happy at work. This upbeat and inspiring session will help you navigate issues like worry and negative thoughts, how to practice gratitude, plan your own happiness and make high-yield happiness investments. Not only will you understand how to politically navigate your way through your company, but understand how your attitude can either make you a real player at your company or the first to go when things get tough.
- Powered by Happy for Leaders: Employee Engagement: Building a good culture at work should be the top initiative of every company. Period. From there, everything else falls into place. 75% of American workers are not happy at work. What do you think this does for not only their career (or lack thereof) but also the performance of your company?! Engaged associates are productive associates. 90% of a company's performance comes from the 20% of your engaged associates. So, how can you motivate your associates to engagement, while increasing your bottom line? Leaders will learn what employees value and how to create a culture of success and happiness.
